Spring Break at Coronda Island

This was our very favorite part of San Diego.  We loved this ocean so much.  It was so clean, the sand was velvety, the waves were amazing, and the people there were very nice and it wasn't very crowded.  There was so much too look at and do, as well.  And my dream was fulfilled to eat some really great Mexican food- fresh chicken tacos.  We feared for our life on the way back to the hotel with a crazy taxi driver over the Coronado Bridge (seriously, we were frightened) but other than that, it was awesome!

We were greeted by this amazing and humumgous sand castle.

The amazing sand
Ahhhh... after wool socks and boots all winter, the sun was a welcome sight to my long, white toes ;o)

The sand... did I mention how much we loved that sand?

 The waves.

We had so much fun cruising around the beach and neighborhood.

Hotel Del Coronado.

 And the sunset!  Spectacular!

Love you forever, Coronado!  Please take me there again, Hubby!  (Just you and me next time ;o)
