New Cake Stand Orders

I wanted to post these because they turned out so pretty and to give people more ideas of what the cake stands look like in different colors.  I had 2 different orders for a set of 3- The Jessie, The Lucy, and The Joy.

Here it is it light purple and ivory.
This is The Lucy (click here to purchase on Etsy)

The other bride wanted one done in ivory, tan, and dark purple.  She is having a Fiesta with Tres Leche and Flan cakes.

New Location!

We are happy to announce that we have partnered up with Donato's Floral in Maple Grove!
Rita Marie Weddings will now be located in Donato's.  We can do wedding consultations and customers can take a look at cake stands (to purchase or rent), vintage linens, table cloths, etc.

Donato's is a lovely flower shop/warehouse.  So excited to venture with the ladies who run it!
You can check out their website here Donato's Floral.  They specialize in wedding flowers and special occasions.

More to come… we're busy getting settled.  We'll be open as soon as next Saturday!  Hip-hip-hooray!

Oh, and my website got a little facelift, too, with better pictures to see what we rent.
You can check it out here Rita Marie Weddings.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Set of 5 Cake Stands

As promised, here are a set of 5 cake stands that were recently ordered by a customer.
They turned out absolutely beautiful.  I only wish my camera could have fit them all lined up in a line better (shucks!)

If you are interested in 1, 2, 5 or however many you need in whatever color you need- you can go here or here to find out more and place orders.

More Custom Cake Stands

I am so excited about our new custom cake stands that can be ordered in any color or size (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 inches).  I love these shorter-styled ones that stand just over 3 inches tall.

You can order them with vintage trim that is more of the "bedazzled" nature.

Or you can order them with a vintage trim that does not hang down.
And lastly, there is the edge with no trim at all that some people prefer.

They will look stunning in a setting of multiple stands.  Pictures to come soon of an order of 5 that I am almost finished with.  For now, here it is in the taller version.

As always, you can request whatever color you need.

For more information, see my Etsy listing:

Silver Cake Stand Display

I have been working on several orders and put them all together for a picture to give an idea of a wonderful vintage-inspired buffet.  You'll notice that they can be used in a very modern and fun setting as well.  The silver looks fabulous with the bright colors.  This silver is versatile enough that it will look great with lots of different colors and styles.

I love the real vintage trim.

These cake stands went out to a cake shop in the Philippines!

And before that, I sent an order to Kuwait for some sort of party a woman was having there.  It has been really cool shipping internationally.

Here is one that will hold a wedding cake for a woman in Arizona.

And another sample of one that can stand alone or looks good with the whole set.

To custom order these, or to choose another color, click the link below.  Remember, I've got 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 inch plates that come in varying heights.

Spring Break

It's been a little quiet around here, because in the middle of working on these beautiful orders:
We took a few days during spring break weekend to visit my home town of "Fabulous Las Vegas".

If you wonder how much we loved it, let's put it like this: You see this lake (Lake Mead) and the beautiful mountains?  Imagine Garden-of-Eden perfect weather as you walk along the shore and ride through the desert hills with no agenda while sipping Sonic Slushes in great big cups of ice.

Now picture what happened the night we got home: We arrived in the middle of the night to below zero windchills with no coats because we thought the cold spell would end while we were gone.  We had to scrape frozen ice off the car during the middle of the night as we watched drifting snow blow by us from the snow storm that morning.  Luckily, the car started.  We have been in the single digits every morning since.  It would not be an overstatement to say we LOVED the nearly perfect weather and sunshine of Nevada!!!

Not to mention the fact that we loved catching up with old friends and family.  It was truly wonderful!  And there will be more pictures of scenery to come...
