Foot Washing Ceremony

Here are the pictures from the bride that did the foot washing ceremony with one of the vintage linens from my Etsy Shop.  I also had it emboridered for her.  You can read about that by clicking here.

The ceremony turned out beautiful… and you can see that you have a very happy bride.

Be-Jeweled

I am busy working on a project, and it involved a trip to

Have you ever heard of it?  Be-jeweled… be-dazzled…. however you say it…. you gotta admit it is fun to see things that sparkle and shine.  And I got a few supplies to make a dress dazzle (just a little more than it already does) that my daughter will be wearing for an event.

She got invited to this little event like this:

Cute!

Pictures of the process will come in the following week (if I can get my act together and get it done!)

A Simply Sweet Little Wedding

I have some friends that got married last week.
They are very fun and sweet people.

The Tres Leche wedding cake from a Mexican Bakery was the best!  It was so moist I could have drank it!

Some of my friends and I got together to decorate the wedding for her.  It was so simple and yet so sweet.  I cannot take credit for the yellow and white flowers and pompoms, but it is amazing what you can do with tissue paper.  They also mixed in a few fresh tulips and hydrangeas.  The bride wanted to keep it simple, so we honored her wishes.

I had fun putting together the dessert bar.
Congratulations to a sweet family!!!

Tea Cups and Vintage Items For Sale!

These would be so handy for collectors, or for someone throwing a wedding or party with a vintage theme.
We placed the teacups and saucers around different tables, mingling them between flowers and center pieces and such.  It was charming.

There are 13 of them.  This entire set is $25.

We did the same with these vintage accessories.  So sweet!

There are 15 pieces to the set.  This cost $30.
The pink vase is an antique marked Lyndale China still on it, which is worth $10-15 alone.

And the tea cups without saucers were used as parting gifts with these hot cocoa baggies and the wedding couple thank you tags tied on each one.  You could put anything in them: poupourrie, apple cider mix, candy, etc.

There are a total of 38 tea cups, some patterns are the same, but there are quite a few different patterns.

This costs $40.

If you want all 3 of these, I will give a 10% discount.

Leave a comment if you are interested.  Or find me on Craigs List and contact me through the listing (will be posted on Monday).

More Custom Cake Stands

I am so excited about our new custom cake stands that can be ordered in any color or size (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 inches).  I love these shorter-styled ones that stand just over 3 inches tall.

You can order them with vintage trim that is more of the "bedazzled" nature.

Or you can order them with a vintage trim that does not hang down.
And lastly, there is the edge with no trim at all that some people prefer.

They will look stunning in a setting of multiple stands.  Pictures to come soon of an order of 5 that I am almost finished with.  For now, here it is in the taller version.

As always, you can request whatever color you need.

For more information, see my Etsy listing:

Sparklers and Confetti Ribon

Once upon a time, there was this beautiful couple.  And they got married.
They had an amazing wedding reception in the evening.  So they had the wonderful idea to leave at the end of the night with sparklers and confetti ribbon.

We had the bridesmaids hand it out to everyone.  But first we put the supplies in these baskets (which are available to rent).

First all the guests lined up in the big long hallway on each side.  Then as they came running down the aisle, we popped the ribbon out.  What is so cool is the ribbon stayed attached to the container so there was no clean up hassle.

Then once outside, everyone lit their sparklers.  No picture of that (sorry).

It was a fun and festive way to end the night.
And begin a new life together.
