I first tasted this from my friend, Nettie. It was quite amazing. I love that it has apple sauce to cut the oil in half, yet it didn't give it a weird texture which can sometimes happen when using apple sauce.
4 1/4 C. of hot water
3/4 C. apple sauce
1/2 C. honey
2T. brown sugar
1T. salt
2/3 C. oil
3 T. yeast and add a little bit of sugar about 1-2 teasp.
12-14 C. wheat flour.
Add all ingredients to bread mixer. I usually start with the hot water and yeast and sugar. I kind of just watch as it is mixing to see if I need to add more flour. You want it not to be too sticky. After you mix it let it sit for 15-20 mins and then roll out and put in bread pans. Wait until it doubles in size and then bake for 30 mins on 375 degrees.
